Frequently asked questions

Any tips for first-time users?

Press firmly for thicker lines, lightly for thin ones. Experiment with angles of the stylus. Lock the erase switch when you want to keep something longer. Enjoy going paperless! 🌳✍️

My tablet is not working, is it off or broken?

The tablet can't be turned off. It's always on. You can write on it with your fingernail, you don't even need a special pen. The only thing this table uses energy for, is to clear the screen. There is a switch on the back that locks out the clear button, so you don't accidentally clear the screen if you don't want to. Switching that button on the back just enables and disables the clear button. And for the clear button to work, you can't have a dead battery. Also, sometimes to get the clear button to work, you might have to press a bit off to the side of it, and sometimes, they actually just break. You can always try a new battery as well.

Is it good for adults too?

100%! Great for shopping lists, to-do notes, brainstorming, quick sketches, leaving messages, or even as a reusable whiteboard at the office

What if the battery dies after years of use?

The battery is user-replaceable (standard CR2025 coin cell, available everywhere). Just slide open the back cover, swap it, and you’re good for another few years.

Will I lose the stylus?

Most users tie the stylus to the pad with a short string or lanyard (bring your own string). There’s a small hole in the stylus and frame made exactly for this.

Can the pad stand up on its own?

Yes! Insert the stylus into the hole on the bottom-right corner from the back – it instantly becomes a sturdy kickstand for hands-free viewing or drawing on a desk

Is it durable and kid-friendly?

Super tough yet lightweight design with a flexible, shatterproof screen. Perfect for kids – quiet, no markers, no mess, no screen time. They stay focused and creative for hours.

How do I erase my drawing?

Press the one-touch erase button – everything clears in less than a second. There’s also an erase-lock switch so kids (or clumsy adults) can’t accidentally wipe your masterpiece.

Is the screen always on?

Absolutely. Whatever you draw stays on the screen indefinitely with zero power use until you erase it.

Is the screen readable in sunlight?

Yes! The colorful display looks vibrant and clear in direct sunlight or shade – no glare, no backlight needed.

Does it need charging or plugging in?

No charging ever! It runs on a single replaceable CR2025 coin battery that lasts for years (50,000+ erases). When the battery eventually runs out, just pop in a new one – takes 10 seconds.

How does it help the environment and save money?

Go completely paperless! One doodle pad replaces thousands of sheets of paper, saving trees and reducing waste. Over time it pays for itself since you’ll never buy notebooks, sticky notes, or printer paper again.

Is this battery powered? What kind of battery?

Yes there is a lithium cell button battery that comes included. It is encased firmly inside the device for safety and to prevent choking. The battery life should last many thousands of erases. you can replace the battery if you need to, it is type CR2025

Where is the stylus? I can't find it

The stylus is located on top perpendicular to the screen. it is held in by tension. You must poke it in the rear to dislodge it.

Pro Tip: you can even use the pen as a stand so it stands up on its own. you just poke it in that hole in the bottom from behind.

often you can tie the pen to the device so it's always near.

Why won't my tablet turn on?

Actually, the device is already on! You need to switch the lock button on the back of the device to “unlocked”. they are locked by default. Unlock it. Then, the battery lasts for thousands of erases. Th device is always “on”

I have concerns about this tablet

This is not a “smart tablet.” It’s a doodle pad.

It does not connect to internet — no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no camera, no data transmission.

It’s safe for kids when used normally, and much simpler than a smartphone or computer.

The only thing it does is let you draw, erase, draw again — endlessly.

If you buy it from a legitimate store (like ours), you don’t need to worry about it being a “mystery device.”

Could this be some kind of tracking device?

No. These doodle pads are simple standalone electronic writing surfaces. They do not have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or any form of wireless or network connectivity. What you get is a basic LCD screen + stylus + battery. Nothing inside links to the web, so there’s no possibility of data collection, tracking, or “phone-home” behavior.

But what if this “tablet” is like the weird device someone found and posted about online — could this be spyware or a scam?

That fear is understandable. People sometimes find unknown devices and worry they’re malicious. But here’s why those fears don’t apply to these doodle pads:

Historical “mystery device” posts usually refer to found electronics with suspicious wiring, batteries, or odd hardware. That’s not what an LCD doodle pad is. Ours are commercially produced, certified for safety, and described clearly as “LCD writing / drawing tablets.”

There’s no hidden wiring or “board + antenna + mic/cam.” The internal structure is extremely simple (LCD + battery + pressure sensor), designed only to register stylus pressure and change the display. That’s confirmed by teardowns of such pads.
